Why sticky variant
LAVIS Sticky Poly Gel is the original poly gel formula — slightly tacky for placement control. Many techs prefer the sticky variant for nail extensions because the tack holds the gel in place during sculpting until cured.
How to apply
Apply slip solution (or 70%+ alcohol) to brush and finger. Scoop poly gel from tube onto nail form or dual form. Use brush to shape — apex, cuticle line, side walls. Cure 60–90s under 36W+ LED. File and buff to shape after cure, then color and top coat.
Sticky vs Non-Sticky
Sticky variant requires slip solution but offers placement control — gel stays where you put it. Non-sticky version spreads smoother but moves more freely. Pick sticky for extensions on uneven nails or stronger forms; non-sticky for smooth overlays.
Pairs perfectly with
Complete the Poly Gel system: Non-Sticky variant, Dual Forms, Brushes, Builder Gel for hybrid, Protein Bond.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it sticky?
The sticky formula has natural tackiness — holds the gel in place during shaping. Many techs prefer this for extensions because the gel stays where you put it until cured.
Do I need slip solution?
Yes — apply slip solution (or 70%+ alcohol) to your brush and finger before touching the gel. Prevents the gel from sticking to your tools.
Sticky vs Non-Sticky?
Sticky offers placement control; non-sticky spreads smoother. Pick sticky for extensions on uneven nails or strong apex builds; non-sticky for fast smooth overlays.
Cure time?
60–90 seconds under 36W+ LED. UV-only lamp uses 120s.
Can I overlay natural nails?
Yes — apply a thin layer of sticky poly gel as overlay, then file to shape. Works as flexible alternative to acrylic overlays.
